Contemporary Whitehead Studies

Proposals

Please send a proposal rather than a complete manuscript. A good proposal will describe the scope, length, and audience for the book. Please send your proposal via email to and include the following:

  • Proposed title
  • Table of contents
  • An abstract of the text (no more than one page—150 words is ideal)
  • Detailed chapter-by-chapter outline, including mention of appendices, bibliographies, etc.
  • If your work is an edited volume, indicate which chapters are reprinted and which ones are original, and include a list of contributors including their affiliations (please note that authors are responsible for procuring any necessary permissions)
  • Description and number of pieces of art (illustrations, photographs, etc.)
  • Introduction or Preface, plus a sample chapter
  • Your CV (containing your complete contact information)

Attachments should be in Word or RTF format. Every effort will be made to respond to proposals within 3-6 weeks of receipt.

Manuscript Preparation

Authors are required to format manuscripts according to Rodopi's VIBS Style Sheet. A handbook for authors prepared by Rodopi can be found at: http://www.valueinquiry.org/handbook.htm.
